Swift

An adaptive dashboard for semi-autonomous cars. Today's driver assistance acts — or abandons an action — without ever saying why, and leaves no way to intervene short of grabbing the wheel. Swift gives the car a way to show what it intends to do next, and the driver a way to overrule it without taking over completely.

Praesenti

A pocket coach for public speaking. Losing the thread mid-sentence with a room full of people watching is a feeling almost everyone has had, and almost nobody is taught their way out of. Praesenti treats presenting as a skill you practise rather than a nerve you either have or don't — helping young adults get to the point, speak with confidence, and tell a story people follow.

About

I'm Fabian Schadt, a UI/UX and interaction designer based in Überlingen, Germany. I studied interaction design at HfG Schwäbisch Gmünd.

I design mobile apps, web products, and the design systems behind them. My focus is on clear, simple interfaces — the kind that get out of the way and let people do what they came to do.

I work across the full process, from early research and concepts through to prototypes and finished screens. I pay close attention to detail: spacing, typography, motion, and the small decisions that make a product feel considered rather than assembled.

Outside of work I'm a passionate photographer, which is where much of my eye for composition comes from. I'm currently looking for a full-time role where I can keep learning as part of a team.

Product & UX design. From problem framing and user flows to polished, shippable screens.

Interaction & motion. Micro-interactions and transitions that give products a sense of physicality.

Design systems. Token-based systems and component libraries that scale with the team.

Prototyping & research. Testable prototypes and lightweight research loops to de-risk decisions early.
